Wallums Wall Decals

What are Wallums Wall Decals?
Wallums are giant vinyl wall decals that adhere to your wall. They are removable, so if you want to change the design or need to remove it, all you have to do is peel it off. Wallums are inexpensive ways to transform the look and appeal of any room or office.

How do I know which size to order?
Most of our decals are available in multiple sizes. We recommend you measure the area where you will be applying your decal. Take into consideration how much of that area you want the decal to fill up and order the appropriate size. If you need a custom size, we can accomodate you. Just send us a note or live chat us.

Do you offer a printed Catalog?
No, we do not offer a printed catalog. We add new decals to our site weekly, so a printed catalog would get outdated fairly quickly.

Do Wallums have a gloss or matte finish?
We utilize the industry standard Oracal 631 Vinyl which only comes in a Matte finish.

Are the colors in your color chart or decal previewer accurate?
There may be differences in colors depending on your monitor settings. If you are looking to get the exact color, please order some free color samples.

Does the example picture show the actual size of the decal?
No, not usually. We offer many different sizes of each design, but we usually only provide an image of one size. We recommend that you measure the area where you are going to be installing the decal in order to determine the right size for you.

How easy is the installation of Wallums?
All of our Wallums come with steb-by-step instructions that are easy to follow and a free test. Some of the larger Wall'ums decals may come in sections that will seamlessly overlap to make it look like one large decal. For larger decal installations, we recommend the help of another person to make installation easier.

How soon should I install my Wallums once I receive the package?
The sooner the better. The vinyl is rated to last years once installed, but the application tape that is used transfer your decal has a shorter lifespan. We suggest you install the decal within 3 months. If you plan on installing the decal later than 3 months after you received it, we cannot guarantee it will transfer properly. To help elongate the decals life, store the unapplied decal in a cool dark dry place that does not have drastic temperature changes. If the decal is exposed to high heat, direct sunlight or freezing temperatures the chance for failure is increased.

Will Wallums stick to any wall?
Wallums will stick to most walls. Smooth surfaces are ideal, but the decals can be installed on most textured walls with some patience. We have noticed that some walls painted with VOC FREE paints are not compatible with the vinyl regardless of the wall texture. We recommend ordering a free color sample pack. There is a free test decal in the color sample pack that will allow you to test the vinyl to make sure it will adhere to your wall.

I just painted my wall, is it ok to apply Wallums?
No. We recommend waiting at least 2 weeks until installation. If the paint is not completly dry, you risk damaging your walls and peeling off the paint.

How are Wallums made?
Wallums are custom made to order using premium vinyl. All of our designs are manufactured in house in Petaluma, California.

How easy is it to remove Wallums wall decals?
Very easy. All you have to do is start at one corner and gently peel off the wall. Depending on the age/condition of the walls, some paint touchups may be required, but not usually.

Can I re-use Wallums Wall Decals if I take them off the wall?
Unless it is stated in the product description, you cannot move and re-use the decals. The decals will still retain their stickiness, but when you remove the decal it will not retain its shape and detail. The exception to this is our re-positionable printed wallums that use a special fabric vinyl with a re-positionable adhesive and our Wallums Removable Wallpaper..

Will Wallums damage my walls?
As long as the walls were properly prepped and painted, Wallums should not damage your paint. If you are painting your walls, we do suggest that you prime your walls before you paint them. If in doubt, please try one of our sample kits in an inconspicuous spot to test your paint. Wallums cannot be held responsible/liable for any damages to walls.

Where can I put my Wallums Wall Decals?
Just about any hard surface. Glass, mirrors, metal, wood, plastic and many more. However, Wallums will not stick to skin. The vinyl we use it rated for 3+ years outdoors.

Do you ship International?
We do ship international to most countries. We only ship via USPS Priority mail for international shipments. International shipping starts at $30.

What filetype do you require for custom artwork?
If you are providing artwork for a custom design, we need a vector format. An adobe illustrator or eps file is ideal. Photoshop files will not work, nor will exporting a file from Photoshop as it creates a raster/bitmap image instead of a vector based file.

Living Social FAQ's

My living social voucher has expired, can I still use it?
Yes. Your living social voucher may have expired for the promotional value($50), but it is still good for the paid value of $25. You can use the same voucher number provided to you and apply it to your order for a $25 credit.

Why won't my living social code apply?
The most common reason is you forgot click the apply button. Once you enter your code in the box, you MUST click the APPLY button to the right of it to apply to your order.

I have applied the code, but there is still a shipping charge.
The living social voucher cannot be used for shipping costs as stated in the fine print when you purchased the voucher. However if your order subtotal is over $75, your order will qualify for free shipping

When I try to apply my voucher, I get the error "No Such certificate exists".
This error usually occurs when you enter the code incorrectly. You must enter all the dashes in the voucher. It is sometimes hard to distinguish the zeros 0 from the letter O and ones 1 from the letter I. Therefore, we recommend you copy and paste the code from living social to the box. To do this, simply highlight the voucher number on living social's website or in the email you received; right click on your mouse and choose copy. Click inside the promo box on our site where you need to enter the code. Right click again and choose "Paste". Your code should be in the box, but don't forget to click the "Apply" button.

I entered my code, but when I get to the final page of the checkout the total does not reflect my discount.
To solve this, simply re-enter your code in the promo code box under the "Order Summary" area on the right hand of the screen. Be sure to click the apply button and your discount should apply immediately and your new total will be displayed. An example pic of the area is below.

My credit card was declined and I am getting an error that my code is no longer valid.
