World Traveler Wall Decal

I wanted a different way to display our travels, rather than a map of the world with pins. World map decal is definitely a satisfactory solution.

I debated and debated about this decal...and only because I was struggling to find just the right color to fit my living room color scheme. After numerous samples and consulting with family and friends, I finally picked one. I was taking a risk because I do have mildly textured walls, but the test decal stayed in place for weeks, so I went for it. I found that some of the larger pieces do have edges that are peeling back slightly. I took a hairdryer and applied light heat over the entire map to try and help it adhere better. Seems to help a bit, but not perfect. However, I am willing to accept a little imperfection, as the overall look is so impressive. It comes with both large and small stars for marking travel spot, but since I ordered the smaller of the two map sizes, I really only need the small stars. I wish there was an option to order either the mixed set or just one size or the other. I will never use the large ones. Just a thought. Give yourself plenty of time for installation...it comes in one big piece and requires some thought and pre-planning for best results.

Absolutely loved al 3 of the decals we purchased! This was our first experience with a purchase from Wallums and we weren't disappointed! We will be placing futures orders! Highly recommend! We found the video to be the best way to see and understand how to apply the decals. The brochure with instructions made it seem complicated when in reality it was very easy and smooth to adhere. Watch the video and you will have great success!

The decal turned out great on the wall. Installation with only one person was a little challenging, but doable. I would recommend having two people for installation. The only negative thing is that I wish the stars were a little smaller to fit better with the scale of the map. The size of the small stars would be perfect for the large stars and have something smaller than the small stars.

It took me a moment to figure out how to install the map. On like the video direction on the website my map is horizontal but after cutting it in half (along the part with no map) it
Was easier to install. I like the map a lot - it adding wall art to a bare wall that I had been struggling with for some time, but the stars are a little too large for my goal with the map. I think circles would have been better or at least smaller stars. I'm think I'm going to use a silver sharpie for my goal instead.

The world map decal looks great in our family room.

Oh the places you can go in your mind while looking at this beautiful decal. The quality of this piece is very nice and ease of installation was great as well.

Bought it for my Granddaughter and she loves it

I love my decal however it was a little challenging to apply to the wall. After reading the instructions I referred to the suggested videos. The videos didn't demonstrate how to install my type of decal and the instructions were a bit confusing. I did get it on the wall with 2 small folds but they are not very noticeable. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

It looks GREAT!

It looks amazing. The color matched perfectly and was easy to apply.

We love it. The white decal looks crisp on our gray wall. Completes our nursery!

I wanted so badly for this to look awesome on my wall....and it did! I watched the installation video and put it up by myself. I wouldn't recommend doing it alone because there was a lot of material to try to control. I had minimal bubbling and no tears. It looks beautiful and was pretty easy considering. Highly recommend it!

The decal attached to the wall perfectly. The instructions given were very easy to follow and by taking my time and not rushing, the decal went on bubble free. Would purchase other decals from this website. Thank you!

Absolutely loved the wallums map we purchased. Went on the wall perfectly!!

Great! Timely and just what I wanted!
